it's still really confusing to me. i'm still getting used to being able to tell that stuff apart.
but i think it's probably a mixture of both, to be honest. they don't wanna act like they're just as confused as the rest of us so they keep it as vague as possible.
You mean Being able to tell bodies and souls apart?
Anyway I think that's true. I've been wondering to what extent they're in the same boat we are... Is the division between the staff and the users unavoidable for some reason, or is it just a choice they made?
for the most part, yeah. i'm still learning. but, i'm getting better at it every day, at least.
i think they probably do that out of a sense of keeping the peace. if they don't, then they're no better than us. directionless and waiting on someone to tell them what to do. the question is, who's tellin them what to do? i can't believe that their equipment is all that reliable if they have this many issues with predicting stuff and keeping us informed
someone suggested that they might not even know what they're talking about and i have to agree. they probably keep it vague so they can hide how ignorant about the overall situation they really are.
They talk in circles often enough that I'd believe it. We can't argue that they know something more than we do, though, judging by what happened a few months ago. If nothing else, they knew where to send everyone to get what they needed while we were out in the middle of nowhere.
but even if they're just one step ahead of us, that's still not impressive enough to be worth all this trouble of keeping us mostly in the dark. if they were more direct with us, i think it'd make things a lot easier on everyone
have you seen those goggles people wear sometimes to play video games? like the super realistic ones that can make people dizzy or nauseous? it's like that!
or... uh... y'know... stuff like that? does that makes sense....
You know, I thought there was one where they changed some guy's race but left him the same in the reflection, but I can't find it now. But wow, there are really a ton where they accidentally had extra hands.
well there might be a glitch somewhere we can exploit?! it seems like the entire network is just one huge glitch, though, so finding the right one might be tricky...
maybe some of the people who don't have the app are actually agents to ensure that we stay plugged in...
Thanks. It's nice to know the offer's open. And mine still stands too, of course.
Honestly, I'm not really the type to open up about myself much, and talking to people at all is something I'm still getting used to. But it's gotten a little easier to do, thanks to most people on Retrospec being so friendly and understanding. I've met people I can trust.
You're one of them. But I think that goes without saying.
it's always open! i like listening to my friends' problems...

thank you kouhei!! it's really um flattering that you would put trust in me!! did i really earn it...?! i mean, not that i'm untrustworthy or anything, i'm not gonna be spewing your secrets to everyone i meet, but if you're that private, it seems like a huge deal to put your trust in someone like me, because y'know i'm kinda flighty and airheaded at times and i tend to talk too fast so
